The Barns & woodland ceremony glade offer so many opportunities for decoration but equally have so much natural beauty that keeping it simple works too.
In terms of ethos, we champion sustainable, seasonal foliage and flowers and the avoidance of floral foam. Still growing plants, seasonal plants, foraged leaves, dried flowers & grasses all work well with the Barns.

Wild & Mae
Imaginative local floral designer and venue stylist, Nichola is full of ideas, sources British grown flowers as far as possible and avoids plastics and floral foam. Nicola has decorated the Barns and woodland ceremony area for weddings, Open Days and styled shoots.
Lady Greenleaves
Chloe has decorated the Barns (and many couples) on several occasions now for both weddings and an Open Day and can offer both simple and more elaborate floral styling and accessories to suit your budget and vision for your day.
Evie & Flo
Evie & Flo is a Sudbury-based flower farm dedicated to growing beautiful, seasonal British flowers just down the road in Sudbury, Suffolk.
Offering hand-tied bouquets and DIY flower buckets, Caroline and husband Elliot know the Barns well having held their own wedding here.
Confetti
The Confetti ‘Arboretum’ is the perfect space for your confetti shots. Confetti should be natural flower petals or leaves only. Be aware that much of the confetti sold as biodegradable is not suitable and please check that petals are described as ‘undyed’. Due to their larger size rose petals and Autumn leaves look amazing but other smaller petals work well too. A couple of the wedding party holding baskets of confetti at the entrance gate to the Confetti Arboretum for guests to grab handfuls from as they pass through saves time and packaging waste too. Please no confetti cannons.
Shropshire Petals
Couples have always been very happy with Shropshire Petals who are happy to provide samples of confetti to enable you to choose petals to suit your colour scheme and a range of accessories.
Decorative Items & Garden Games
The Barns have a small range of props and decorative items which are available for Alpheton Hall Barns’ couples to borrow for their wedding and you are welcome to bring or hire in additional items.
Outside, the Stackyard Wedding Garden is the perfect location for outdoor games during your drinks reception.
G’s Sweet Treat & Event Hire
Offering rustic hand crafted (large) garden games such as Connect 4 & Jenga, as well as other more decorative items Gina is a regular visitor to the Barns with the added advantage that she is very local.
Lily’s Inflatables & Soft Play
Whether its for children or adults, Lily’s inflatables have provided good quality bouncy castles to be used in the Stackyard Wedding Garden at the Barns.
