Accommodation

Couples and guests attending a wedding at the Barns have a great choice of nearby B&B and Hotel accommodation to suit a range of budgets. Whilst we believe that they all provide good or excellent quality accommodation (and dining) we are unable to make personal recommendations so please do make appropriate checks to ensure that they meet your requirements.

Newman’s Lodge B&B in Alpheton provides ideal accommodation for the wedding party with space for wedding party preparation too. If you are looking to accommodate a larger group take a look at the Mill Hotel, Sudbury, which offers 62 rooms with dining areas overlooking the river Stour and water meadows, which are teeming with wildlife.

The Black Lion in Long Melford & The Swan Hotel in Lavenham (including The Priory Suite) are also popular choices for those looking for a little more luxury and if you choose to provide guests with coach travel then we can provide coach turning and parking space at Alpheton Hall Barns.
